Welcome to the Ludlow6 Blog

Ludlow6—Creative Idea Exchange.

We started this blog about our studio in order to communicate more quickly and easily with our clients and colleagues. We think it will be a great way to keep all of our information and our communication design projects up-to-date. The blog will also allow everyone to see what we’ve been working on in the studio—and what we’ve been doing that’s interesting outside of the studio.

You can scan the posts or, if you want to find specific types of projects, use the list of labels on the right hand side. And be sure to visit our site at Ludlow6.com

Our blog will also contain useful resources to help you find design related information all in one place.

If you have any feedback or would like to discuss an upcoming project, please feel free to contact us at jim@ludlow6.com

If you know of anyone who could benefit from our services, please forward our blog link to them.

High Line Opening Day

I took a quick break yesterday to take a walk on the new High Line park with my friend Douglas. In between torrential rain, we walked from the entrance on Gansevoort Street to 20th Street and back. The park will eventually run up to 34th Street. It is an amazing piece of urban design. The landscaping, furniture and views are amazing. Its great to get up above the street and cut through blocks to see views of the city you could never see before. I highly recommend taking a walk and hanging out in this new park. No dogs (including Fannie) are allowed up there yet until the plantings get established. To read more about the High Line, follow this link. Photos are from the High Line site.
